Biden is expected to extend the period during which adults are eligible for vaccination



President Biden is expected to announce on Tuesday that he is speeding up the adult date to make it eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before April 19.

Last month, Biden instructed states, tribes and regions to ensure that all adults can be vaccinated before May 1.

But sources confirmed to Fox News that the president will advance this date by two weeks.

Biden has set a goal of providing 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the first 100 days of his tenure-this goal has doubled to 200 million doses by his 100th day.

However, Biden is expected to say on Tuesday that in the first 75 days of his administration, the United States has reached 1

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control, Biden will also say that more than 75% of people over the age of 65 have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 55% of people in this age group have received both doses and prophylaxis.

Biden is also expected to advertise more than 4 million doses of vaccine in a single day over the weekend.

After visiting the vaccination site in Alexandria, Virginia, the president will announce the news from the White House on Tuesday.
