Defensive tackle Terrell McClain has found a new home after a free agent tour with the Cowboys, 49ers and Dolphins
The Falcons signed McClain on Friday, the team said. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The 6-foot-2, 302-pound McClain will provide depth and experience along the interior of Atlanta's defensive line. He joins Grady Jarrett, rookie Deadhrin Senate and Garrison Smith, among other defensive tackles who are currently on the Falcons' roster.
McClain previously signed a four-year contract for $ 21
McClain's production last season probably will not do his thing in Washington as he appeared in 12 games with two starts and a total of 20 tackles (17 solo) and two sacks.
The 29-year-old McClain entered the third league with the Carolina Panthers in 2011 from South Florida. In addition to his stay in Washington last year, he appeared in the games Patriots (2012), Texans (2012-13) and Cowboys (2014-16).
McCain played in 74 games (29 starts) and a total of 110 tackles (75 solo), 6.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
