Florick, Georgia-The Atlanta Falcons have announced that receiver Julio Jones and center Alex Mack will participate in Sunday’s game in Kansas City.
Jones has been selected to the Pro Bowl seven times, but due to a hamstring injury, he will miss the game for the third consecutive time. Mack, a six-time Pro Bowl draft pick, will miss the first game of the season due to a concussion.
The third starter, left back James Carpenter, will miss the game due to a groin injury.
Free security Ricardo Allen (Ricardo Allen) is listed as a suspected concussion. Allen took part in the practice on Thursday. Returning expert Brandon Powell (foot) and rookie defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (knee) are listed as having problems.
Russell Gage will start in second place, and Calvin Ridley will again take first place in Jones. Matt Hennessy will replace Mack, and Justin McCray will start at Carpenter.
