Yuengling will come to Texas this year.

DG Yuengling & Son announced that the first state to expand westward would be Texas, as it worked with Molson Coors to brew beer in Lone Star State.

Yuengling is the oldest brewery in the United States. The brewery in Pottsville, Pennsylvania currently distributes beer in 22 states from Massachusetts to Louisiana.

Last fall, DG Yuengling and Molson Coors announced a partnership to expand the availability of Yuengling to more states under the banner of the newly formed Yuengling Company.

The company’s chief administrative officer Wendy said in a written statement.

Molson Coors will brew Yuen Long beer locally at the Fort Worth Brewery in Texas.

Yuengling expects its beer will hit Texas retailers this fall.

Gavin Hattersley, President and CEO of Molson Coors Beverage Company, said that Yuen Long’s entry into Texas “will provide both companies with tremendous growth opportunities.”

He said in a written statement: “By producing Yuanling’s iconic beer at the world-class Fort Worth factory, we will make many Texans happy.”
