Argentina agrees to a $65 billion restructuring agreement with bondholders



The Argentine government confirmed on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with its major foreign private creditors to restructure US$65 billion in debt. The Ministry of Economy said this step would “give the country a major debt relief” and resolve its third sovereign debt default in two decades.
