Are you considering switching? [Poll]-9to5Mac

Just like people arguing about iOS on Android, there has been more and more arguing between Apple Music and Spotify since 2015. As the battle for music streaming services begins to bring podcasts and HiFi to the battlefield, are you planning to continue using the current streaming services, or are you considering switching?

I have been using Apple Music since it was launched. Even if Apple deleted all my databases several times, I didn’t care. Then, when some songs are repeated, I don’t mind. Now, Apple Music strives to show the correct album artwork to certain artists and faces some reliability errors. Should I care now?

On the other hand, we have been regularly reporting on all changes that Spotify makes on its platform. It added podcasts, and early data indicated that it was a success. It also plans to launch HiFi tier subscriptions this year, and has recently improved all applications.

I used to complain because I didn̵

7;t get the user interface of Spotify, but when I started to compare with Apple Music, now I find that they are very similar. Compare yourself:

If you compare prices, they are exactly the same: the personal package is $9.99 a month, the family package is $14.99 a month, and the student application is $4.99 a month. The difference is that Apple now offers Apple One, so it’s easier to be with Apple Music because you can also receive iCloud, Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ at the same time.

The monthly cost of the Apple One personal plan is $14.95, while the monthly cost of the family plan is $19.95: this is a very good deal. On the other hand, Spotify has a free ad-based version and a Premium Duo, suitable for two people living together, for only $12.99 per month.

Using any service, you can get a good deal according to your needs. However, if you are a member of Apple, you may ask if Spotify can integrate with all your devices. Spotify has Apple Watch apps, macOS apps, and browser apps, but the company does not yet support HomePod integration.

For example: if you like sharing and know what your friends are listening to, you can use Spotify to do it in real time. If you want to merge podcasts and music in the same location, Spotify also supports it. If you hope to get a good summary at the end of the year, Spotify can do better than Apple Music.

As an Apple One subscriber, and all Apple devices are integrated with Apple Music, I am now considering switching to Spotify. I would like to ask you: Are you satisfied with the current music streaming service? Do you plan to switch? Vote in the poll and let me know in the comments section below.
