The developers of Respawn revealed in a new news stream that Season 9 of Apex Legends will contain “a lot of” content from its spiritual predecessor Titanfall.
Fans of first-person shooter games remember the wild sci-fi shooter series “Titanfall”. If you have played it, the similarities can easily be spotted in the Apex Legends round.
Battle Royale and first-person shooter are both made by Respawn and set in the same universe. However, according to the developers, Apex will get more content than ever from Titanfall starting in season 9.
In a panel discussion of many Respawn developers hosted by BrownGirlGamerCode, Apex senior author Ashley Reed further discussed the relationship between the two games and how they integrate Titanfall into Apex.
“What happened to the Titans is a war, and the culmination is what happened after the war, like what life is like in this place?”
We have seen the similarities between the two games, such as the use of Titanfall weapons in Apex. Who can forget the clumsy Leviathans (AKA Moyais) towering over the Royal Escape?
As promised by “Apex Legends” game director Chad Grenier (Chad Grenier), Titanfall content seems to be just the tip of the iceberg, coming in season 9.
Grenier hinted: “Next season, season 9, you will actually see a lot of Titanfall coming back into the game in one way or another.”
“I have told some people before that if you are a fan of Titanfall, please continue to season 9 because there will be some really cool things.”
Obviously, Grinier did not delve into what will happen next season. So in the meantime, unless there are any leaks or new information, we just have to wait and see when Respawn officially announces it, Titanfall fans should be so excited about it.
According to the reported Blisk leak, the leak may be larger than anyone expected.
