Respawn revealed the content of the ranked game in Apex Legends Season 7 Ascension, which will be split twice on different maps, including the new Olympus Arena, and cross-game progress between PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
The studio’s long-term plan to merge its communities into a playlist finally came true. However, depending on who you date in the Apex Arena, the pace of progress toward your level may vary.
The seventh season revealed many twists and surprises, such as a closer look at Olympus and the new legend named “Horizon”, the developer also told us how the ranking season will be divided.
Players who are proficient in Predator will want to know when the mid-season reset will begin and how level ups can be applied to teams that have assortments on multiple platforms.
Apex ranking divided by date and map
Apex’s ranking season will be divided into two different stages. One occurred on Mount Olympus, and the other occurred before the ascension ended and moved to the edge of the world.
Starting from season 7, the Apex Legends community will be played on the new map November 4 to December 15. After that, not only will everyone’s ranking be reset, but other teams will all switch to World’s Edge before the next eighth season.
For those who are keeping track, this means that Kings Canyon will not appear on Ascension’s ranked playlist, although the developer said it will “return in the next season.”
Ranked leagues and crossover matches
Console players who choose to participate in the cross-play will be able to play with anyone else on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. But we warn that if you only have one PC player in your team, it means you will also use it with anyone else on Origin or Steam.
Even if this can greatly expand the scope of the competition, it is important to know that inviting someone on the PC will use the mouse and keyboard to invite other players.
Otherwise, the pairing will be the same as normal, and the lobby will still be sorted by RP count. For people at the Master or Apex Predator level, ranking matching will only earn RP on the platform you use.
Therefore, if you belong to those special leagues and want to climb on PS4, then it will not continue to progress on Xbox or PC.
Season 6 ranking rewards
Of course, before the end of Season 6, Respawn will end the era of people with specific levels of rewards so that people can be added to the inventory.
There is everything from diving trails to badges and charms, corresponding to your position in the rankings when Season 7 arrives.
There will be a lot of content in Apex Legends in Season 7, so please tune it to @Dexerto and our Apex Legends channel to get all the latest news.
