Anker beats Apple to enter the market and has now launched a new battery pack compatible with iPhone 12 MagSafe

The popular accessory manufacturer Anker has officially released a new wireless power bank compatible with MagSafe for iPhone 12 users. There are rumors that Apple is developing its own similar accessories, but it has encountered some obstacles in development. Anker accessories debuted at CES last month and can be ordered now.

The brand new Anker PowerCore magnetic 5K wireless power bank is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, which can charge the iPhone 12 mini from 0 to 100%. There is a little margin. The power of iPhone 12 is from 0 to 95%, and the power of iPhone 12 Pro is from 0. To 97%, and iPhone 1

2 Pro Max from 0 to 75%.

The magnetic compatibility of MagSafe design makes this latest Anker PowerCore battery unique. It can be connected to the back of iPhone 12 and act as a portable wireless charger. Anker explained:

  • Snap and Go: Simple and convenient wireless charging; just connect the PowerCore magnetically to the back of the phone and observe the charging current.
  • Built for iPhone 12: Perfectly compatible with iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Charge via compatible magnetic case.

Anker PowerCore Magnetic’s LED indicator can display the remaining power of the battery pack, and has a USB-C port to charge and charge other accessories. It retails for $39.99 and will start shipping on March 3.

Bloomberg reported last week that Apple is still developing MagSafe battery accessories for the iPhone 12 series, but it has encountered some problems in its development. The report explains that Apple has developed this new accessory for “at least a year” and is “scheduled to launch within a few months after the release of the iPhone 12 series.”

Please keep in mind that the MagSafe accessory can be charged at 15W, but this Anker accessory is only “MagSafe compatible” and is not certified by MagSafe. Anker PowerCore Magnetic will be limited to the iPhone 12’s standard Qi charging speed of 7.5W.

It remains to be seen whether Apple’s MagSafe battery pack for the iPhone 12 will finally be available, but the MagSafe compatible Anker can be ordered from today.

Thanks, Zach!
