After two women quarreled with another passenger for using racial slander, American Airlines’ flight was diverted.
Due to this incident, Flight 776 between Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and Los Angeles must be diverted to Phoenix on Wednesday.
According to Phoenix police reports, 30-year-old Kelly Pichardo and 29-year-old Leeza Rodriguez were asked by another passenger to stop using the term.

“Then the male passenger began to record the two women, which is why Leeza Rodriguez stroked the man’s hand to prevent him from recording the incident.”
According to the “Republic of Arizona” report, the two women were charged with wrongdoing when they landed at the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, where Pichardo also faces other charges of assault.
American Airlines spokesperson Derek Walls told the Republic of Arizona: “Their behavior is disturbing and unacceptable. It has been included in our internal trash list and is awaiting further investigation.”
“We will continue to investigate this incident and work directly with affected customers to ensure their health. We thank the crew for their professionalism in handling difficult situations.”
The plane continued to fly to California without any other problems.
