Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (Hillary Clinton) had some fun at the expense of President Trump after Twitter announced that his account had been permanently suspended.
After the violence on Capitol Hill on Wednesday and Trump briefly suspended from social media platforms, Twitter announced on Friday night that the president would no longer be able to tweet.
Clinton reacted to the news by reinstating a tweet she wrote during the 2016 presidential election, when she told her then Republican rivals to “delete your account.”
Twitter permanently suspends @REALDONALDTRUMP account
The former Democratic presidential nominee posted a check mark on Friday night.
When Twitter announced that the current president would no longer be on the platform, the social media landscape was shaken.
The company stated: “After carefully reviewing the latest tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the surrounding environment, especially after receiving and interpreting these tweets on Twitter and from Twitter, we may further incite violence. The account has been permanently disabled,”

Twitter’s two prominent positions were confirmed by the president earlier Friday, one of which was confirmed that he will not participate in the January 20 nomination of the president-elect Biden.
“These two tweets must be read based on major events in the country and the way different audiences mobilized the president’s statement, including incitement to violence, and behavior based on this move. In recent weeks,” the company said. “After evaluating the language in these tweets according to our Violent Honor policy, we determined that these tweets violated the Violent Honor policy, and the user @realDonaldTrump should be immediately and permanently disabled from the service.”
