After a player tested positive for COVID-19, the Cleveland Browns delayed the flight to New Jersey for contact tracing.
The Browns are scheduled to play against the New York Jets at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday.
After contact with people who tested positive outside the organization, Jedrick Wills Jr., who started from the left earlier this week, was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list. However, according to league news, Wells is not a player who tested positive. If he continues to test negative, Wells can still play against the Jets.
The Browns could secure their first playoff spot in 18 years on Sunday, while Miami, Baltimore or Indianapolis could lose the game.
