After Hurricane Zeta, New Orleans electrocuted 1 person

First responders said that a few hours after Hurricane Zeta traversed the area, a person was electrocuted on Wednesday night, and the damage caused 450,000 utility customers in the entire area without access to electricity. New Orleans EMS said they responded to the high-voltage electrocution that occurred in the 8200 block of Palm Street in the Gert Town block of the city. Video recordings at the scene showed that multiple police officers in New Orleans were investigating, and police tapes obstructed road traffic. We were told that the victim was only an older male who might have had a transformer wire dropped on him while on the street. New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell (LaToya Cantrell) said at a news conference on Wednesday night: “Please let public safety officials handle the damage caused by Hurricane Zeta.”
