Actor Abigail Breslin shared the news of her father’s death via Instagram and wrote that he died after signing with Covid-19. She posted five photos of her father Michael, along with a long headline saying “It’s hard to write.”
She wrote that after learning of his death, she was in “shock and destruction.”
“At 6:32pm EST, my sweet, perfect, amazing, heroic, and wonderful dada said goodbye to me after my family died,” Breslin wrote in a post published on Friday.
She added that her father is “a lively, fanatical, tenacious, rebellious, smart, cute, and incredible person. He loves life. He loves his family. He likes simple things.”

“He likes Breyer’s ice cream (strawberry, vanilla and chocolate NEO style). He likes doo-wop songs, especially “I Wonder Why” by Dion and The Belmonts and “Under The Boardwalk” by The Drifters.
Breslin said that her father was an “animal lover”, and he said he had always liked to hear her stories about pets.
She added: “He likes taking pictures, flying, dinner and music from the 1950s and 1960s, good sofas and Kenyan mountain coffee, funny YouTube videos, email threads and weird verses and politics. He loves me. , He loves my brother, he loves my mother.”
After writing the emotional post, she wrote: “We love him. And we will always. I miss your dad. I can’t wait to see you again. I will never, never forget you. Reach the moon and return. Dada…love, love you forever, Abs.”
