Fort Lauderdale, Florida. (WSVN)-After Florida Governor Ron DeSantis approved the company to enter the third phase of reopening, customers returned to bars in South Florida this weekend, sparking concerns about the possible resurrection of the coronavirus Worry.
The 7News camera captured the crowd of Hee Hee crowd in the Elbo Hall in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night.
“I’m glad to be back at the bar,” a man said.
One lady said, “This is great.”
The man said: “It’s been a long time.”
Almost no distance from society is observed, and only a few customers wear masks.
Mike Penrod, who owns Elbo Room, said his business was hit hard by the lockdown.
“It is really difficult for employees, customers, and families to close for six months. It is really difficult,”
DeSantis confirmed that at a press conference on Friday, he advanced New York State to the third stage, opening the doors to bars and nightclubs and allowing restaurants to serve food at all levels.
The governor’s executive order also prevented cities and counties from charging fines to anyone who did not wear a mask.
However, not everyone is celebrating.
Debbie Nelms (Debbie Nelms) from Houston said she was shocked by the speed of migration in Florida.
She said: “The COVID is still very real.”
On Saturday night, the bars in the Wynwood district of Miami were less crowded.
Francis Suarez in Miami, who contracted the virus and recovered at the beginning of the pandemic, said he was not satisfied with the governor’s decision.
He said: “He makes these decisions out of our ability. They will regulate and restrict themselves, and they will not allow us to impose fines on people or companies that violate the rules.” “For me, this is a very Big obstacle.”
