YouTube users across the United States reported the outage to the popular video-sharing platform on Wednesday night.
YouTube’s parent company, Google, did not disclose the cause of the interruption. Google said the outage ended at 9:13 p.m. EST
Google said: “If you are having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you are not alone-our team is aware of the problem and is working on a solution. We will follow up any updates here,” evening.
YouTube users who have visited the site and tried to watch the video found that the video cannot be played.
Downdetector.com, the outage reporting website, said that at 7pm Eastern Time, nearly 300,000 users reported outages.
