Currently, an unlikely opponent is preparing to challenge the world champion of Roman Raines in the Royal Rumble.
After winning the first place boxer match in tonight’s SmackDown Main Event, Adam Pearce will challenge the Reigns World Championship at the Royal Rumble. Pearce has always been an authority figure on WWE TV. In Reigns, he participated in last week’s Kevin Owens (Kevin Owens) against Jay Uso (Jey Uso) main match and boxing this week After feeling upset, Pierres became the boxer tonight.
Reigns mentioned that Pearce participated in the challenge. Later in the show, Paul Heyman told Pearce that he pulled some strings to get him into the game. Heyman recounted Pearce’s past as Scrap Daddy Adam Pearce, and said that because of his reign, Pierce can now pursue his dreams.
Pearce was the last person to enter the glove. He reluctantly fought alongside Reigns, Uso and Heyman. Reigns and Uso attacked Shinsuke Nakamura before the bell rang. After setting up Nakamura, Reigns threw Pearce into the ring. Uso gave Pearce a super kick and Reigns asked to ring the bell. Uso put Pearce on Nakamura, and the referee counted.
Daniel Bryan, Baron Corbin, Rey Mysterio and Sami Zayn also participated in the challenge. Nakamura defeated Bryan, Corbin and Mysterio.
Last week’s SmackDown ended with Reigns dumping Owens from the WWE ThunderDome position through the form below. After last week’s performance, WWE announced Owens’ storyline update: “Kevin Owens was taken to a local medical after the attack on SmackDown on Friday night by global champions Roman Reins and Jay Uso Organization, has been diagnosed with spinal cord contusion and kidney bruise. The Royal Rumble will be held on Sunday, January 31.
