His agent Lynda Bensky told CNN that Brimley died on Saturday while in hospital in St. George, Utah. He has received medical treatment in the ICU and is undergoing dialysis.
Bensky said: “Wilford Brimley is someone you can trust. He said what he meant, he said what he said.” “He is strong on the outside and gentle at heart. I am I feel sad that I can no longer hear the wonderful stories of my friends. He is one of them.”
His film works date back to the 1970s, including “Cocoon”, “Nature” and “Things”. He also starred in several TV shows, including NBC’s “Our House”, he is a husband and wife, his wife and her children live with him.
In addition to Quaker Oats, he also appeared in advertisements for the American Diabetes Association, where he used his pungent baritone to urge people to check blood sugar frequently.
Over the years, he has won new fans (born decades after his film appearance) and attracted many mustaches who pay tribute to fans.
