Destiny 2 Players have just got their hands on the new star storm Raid Lair, and that's extremely difficult. This time, the minimum of 370 Power Level is basically required, so be prepared to die if you're not ready. That being said, here is a complete guide to all the important stages. We'll tell you which orbs to pass, which platforms to jump on, and how to beat the boss.
Optimal team compositions are still being worked out, but we strongly advise you to have two Warlocks and two Titans in your group. Ability-wise, that will do you the most damage in the end.
PHASE 1: STATUE GARDEN
You will begin the Stardust in a room with four columns and a huge cauldron in the middle. With that in mind, you assign one team member to each pillar and the remaining two members are in control. A ball appears in the back of the room. Go over to pick it up. Throw it in the cauldron to start the step.
The main feature of this phase is the white greed strip that comes from each of the columns. If you are engrossed in greed while standing on a pillar, you will die in 15 seconds. Holding the ball for too long can kill you too. Given these limitations, the goal is to stand on each of the four pillars and guide the ball clockwise or counterclockwise until the pillar stops ascending. So, use the ball to lift the pillar, hand it over to the next person, catch it and get on its pillar. Do this until all four columns are fully raised and throw the ball into the cauldron. If you take too long, the columns will sink. Do it three times and the phase is over.
Make sure high-level opponents spawn about halfway through the process. It is also good if a teammate stands by the statue to throw the ball at the first player at the beginning of each casting cycle.
For the next phase, you will fall through the newly opened hole and continue to the Power Conduit Room. Follow the path until you are here.
Go through the back room to the right and you will see a terminal with a lever to pull. It provides a bridge for you to jump. You come to an inevitable lever in the middle of the puzzle, which requires two team members, and the third is at the top of a series of rotating platforms. Three players must be nearby to pull the last lever. All lights turn green and you get access to the next area.
Continue until you reach a room with a large red cylinder in the center. Just destroy the small brackets around the structure with a long shot. Break everyone to destroy the pillar and go to the next insidious encounter.
THE MONITORING SURVEY OF THE CLASSICAL OBSERVER
In the room you can see four more plates: two on the left and two on the right. The right panels light up when touched. As soon as a person stands on each plate, an orange ray shoots into the center of the room. Three of your team members also receive a buff named Superior Retainer. The buff allows you to jump into the beam and morph into space.
Send a team member with Superior Retainer through the beam and make sure another person engages to activate the plate until teleportation is complete. When you step into the beam, you see holograms of the three ships out there.
Make a note of the ship that has the circle and the symbol around it and report it to your team. The symbols correspond to three plates in the left, middle and right arena. Move to these icons after your Retainer member has been teleported. You'll know you did it right when you see three lights. Get the person who was teleported to pick the ball that falls just before returning to the arena.
The next step is to charge the ball the same way as the first encounter. In the middle of the arena you can see the white stripe for Greed. Once loaded, take the ball to the corresponding icon. As long as your team still stands on all symbols, the doors will open. Throw the ball into the hole to activate the weapon. Once you do that, it's time to kill a few add-ons.
At some point, more orbs are spawning, and you must lift them up through the beam as before. Again, all the team members must be in the right place for the beam to appear. Grab a bullet that falls after her, make her disappear, go into space, look at the target ship and throw that bullet there. Do this three times to beat the match.
However, there is one big wipe to notice. Make sure that all weak debuff spots do not stay red for too long. Fix this by grabbing a bullet and charging it there.
THE FINAL END
As you would expect, the final Boss encounter is really brutal. That being said, this is where the 370 power level counts. If you are not there yet, leave and come back over the checkpoint. We have a guide that will help you get up faster if you feel you need it.
If you're ready to move on, do a bunch of adds until you get the maximum Heavy Ammo. Many of them will spawn when you start the fight, so just create a formation and go. It can be helpful to have two team members on each side of the arena and one in the middle.
Finally, you will kill enough additions to make the boss's shield violet. When this happens, a bullet appears on one of the outer plates.
Someone should grab the ball and meet in a formation. You will notice that all but the ball holder glow blue. Very quickly, you throw the ball to everyone in your team as the boss charges before the timer for the Enkulfed Debuff passes. If you did it right, the whole team will be cleaned.
Afterwards, meteors will fall on the outer plates. Just like before, somebody has to jump into the orange ray that comes when four players stand on the outer plates. This time you see two symbols in the room and two balls fall outside. The person in the room should exclaim the symbols as usual. Throw the balls to the players who are responsible for the corresponding symbols. Guide them through the Greed Maze and let everyone stand on the icons to open the doors. Both throws do not have to be simultaneous, but you work with a timer.
If you do that right, two more balls spawn on the outer plates. Go back to the plates and throw the balls at the two players who receive the Superior Buff. These two players have to pass the bullets through the scraps, go with them into space and throw the bullets to destroy the two ships.
Next a ball will spawn. Pass it through a bundle and pass it between teammates to share the debuff when the timer goes up. At some point Callus will charge behind the boss, so throw the loaded balls at Callus to destroy his shield. From here, have your Titans melt and throw Tomahawks as you return to the side rooms. Save the boss with missiles, kill a bunch of adds, and a ball appears.
Clean again, go to the plates, send the upper ones into space, report the two symbols, get the two balls to the symbol players, Dip the bullets in the yaw wag, jump into the room with the yaw-bound bullets and throw them onto the appropriate ships. The ball drops again, splitting the debuff to make sure the timer does not expire and another damage phase begins. Rinse and repeat until the fight ends. If you make it here, you'll get some really rough armor and high-end equipment.
