Fitness “influencers” who believe that COVID-19 does not exist have died of the 33-year-old virus.
Dmitriy Stuzhuk (Dmitriy Stuzhuk) discovered the disease during a trip to Turkey and was taken to the hospital after returning to his hometown of Ukraine, where he tested positive.
The social media star who promoted a healthy life was discharged eight days later, but the virus caused heart complications.
After he was sent back to the hospital, his ex-wife Sofia, now 25, said that he was in a “serious condition” and “coma”.
She told her followers that he “has a problem with the cardiovascular system… his heart cannot cope with it”.
“His condition is extremely severe. No one can do anything about it.
“I tried my best to make the father of my three children survive. But now, nothing depends on me.”
Later, she announced her death and added: “Only warm memories remain, three beautiful children and precious experiences.”
Earlier, Mr. Sturzuk posted on social media in the hospital bed that he had a swollen neck and difficulty breathing when he woke up in Turkey.
He told his 1.1 million followers: “I want to share my condition and strongly warn everyone.
“I used to think that Covid didn’t exist…until I got sick.
“COVID-19 is not a short-lived disease! It is also very heavy.”
Dmitriy and Sofia Stuzhuk broke up six months ago, but they have three children, and the youngest is only 9 months old.
