343 said that cross-games, input-based matching and custom game browsers will all be released to “Halo: Chief Chief” in 2020.
In a blog post on Halo Waypoint, the developer provided a snapshot of the features the development team is working on and working on in 2020. Without providing a specific date, 343 confirmed many features that players have been asking for.
Perhaps the most important thing is the interaction between Xbox One and PC. 343 said that cross-play, input-based matching and server area selection will be released together.
At the same time, custom game browsers, graphics options for each game, and Xbox mouse and keyboard support will be released together.

343 recently released Halo 3 on PC as part of the Master Chief Collection and stated that it will release ODST campaigns and Halo 4 on PC and Xbox in 2020, as well as ODST Firefight (with an updated network).
Other notes in the update: ODST weapons are about to appear in Halo 3 and vice versa. Season 3 started with ODST and brought new Halo cosmetics.
